
Chinese Style Fish with Lotus Roots Recipe

Quick and Easy Fish Recipe
With only a few ingredients, the lotus root adds a little bit of sweetness and crunch while the soy sauce and honey round out the flavor of the dish!
Ingredients
2 filets of white fish
Grated fresh ginger
2 tbs olive oil
4 tbs soy sauce
2 tbs honey
Frozen lotus root
1 tbs preserved turnip (optional)
2 tbs Chinese cooking wine
Green onions
Instructions
01. Place fish in a steamer pan with cooking wine, green onions, and grated ginger. Add lotus roots. Let it steam.
02. Meanwhile, mix soy sauce and honey in the dish where you’ll put the fish. Add preserved turnips.
03. Heat up olive oil.
04. Place fish and lotus root in the dish and mix with soy sauce and honey. Add the olive oil.
05. Garnish with fresh ginger and more green onions if desired!
